When purchasing BMPFst, the most important element is the license. The software is freely distributable; you can install it on as many machines as you want, and you can also give copies to other people. To run the software, you need the digital license, which is distributed when you purchase the software. You will see a screen (similar to the one below) that has your license.
License Terms
The standard license is valid for a period of one year. The license allows the software to run on a single machine registered with that license. You can renew the license at the end of the license period. You do not need to purchase a new license when the license expires. The same license will work for all updates of the software. New installations will work with existing licenses.
Lost Licenses
If you entered information when you purchased the software, we can look up your license. If you purchased as a guest and did not enter any information, it is much more difficult to look up your license. Typically, at least your email allows us to look up your license. If you lose your license, send an email to info@bmpfast.com, and we will look up your lost license key.
Renewing Licenses
You can purchase a license extension at any time, which will increase the period of the license. Extending the license is a nominal fee; new licenses are more expensive than license extensions, so this is the financially preferable method of continuing the use of the software.
Transferring Licenses
The license can be deactivated on a machine and transferred to other machines. You can do this through the link in the lower left-hand corner of the Splash Screen (where it say License Information). This will also display the expiration and status of the license.
